Justin spent twelve years in the United Kingdom managing an optical factory, where he witnessed the disappearance of the independent opticians. He saw many companies with large economies of scale get the best deals from the bigger suppliers, whilst smaller businesses would seemingly miss out on these deals. You could in fact say, that the big suppliers, were playing a significant role in the downfall of the independent optical market.
Justin then returned to Wollongong in 2008, determined to find a solution that would keep the independent optical market thriving.
